Rodin tried to solve the problem. Ullas dagbog 5.9. 2005: Gordon has worked on a big painting, he is trying to dissolve the drawings and paint them into the painting. It has taken a month and is part of the Beckett-serial painted over "The Song of Solomon" a biblical love poem. One af the most sensuous vers is number 14: Oh my dove, that are in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice, for sweet is thy voice and thy countenance is comely".
